Fund Raising for Orphanage

The Christmas Party of YKK Philippines included a CSR program for a foundation of less fortunate children, the SOS Children’s Village Philippines Lipa Chapter. The 20 children together with YKK Phils family, spent an evening of fun reliving the spirit or giving.

The highlight of the CSR was to raise enough funds. Donating cash offerings entitled one to hang a Christmas ball that was prepared by our factory. The spirit of giving came readily as employees took turns hanging their offerings. YKK Phils raised over thirty thousand pesos from over a hundred donors.

The children then thanked YKK by presenting us a song and dance number which melted our hearts. The whole night was a humbling experience for all of us.
