On 12 March 2026, the Sports and Recreation Club Team and staff of YKK Malaysia came together to support a local children’s home. The home provides care for 50 children between the ages of 7 and 17, many of whom have experienced family loss, abuse, or financial hardship. Their circumstances serve as a reminder of the important role community support plays in providing comfort and meeting essential daily needs.
In the lead-up to the contribution, YKK Malaysia employees voluntarily pooled monetary donations to assist the home during the Ramadan period. The funds raised were used to purchase groceries and essential items requested by the home’s organizer, including food supplies, toiletries, and cleaning necessities to support the children’s daily living.
Through the Ramadan Donation Drive, YKK Malaysia demonstrated how small contributions can come together to make a meaningful difference. The effort also reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to fostering a caring and socially responsible workplace, while supporting the wider community in a practical and impactful way.
