“Just for Kicks” in Bangladesh and Indonesia

“Just for Kicks” a CSR initiative that was inaugurated in 2007 in Singapore by YKK Holding Asia crossed borders this year and was organized in Bangladesh and Indonesia. The concept was to put over 700 boys aged 10-14 years old and 60 youth coaches through the paces for free by Academy coaches from world-renowned football club AS Roma.

Dhaka and Jakarta were the cities chosen to run the event with the assistance of The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Persatuan Sepakbola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI).

The participants were put through a fun filled session for 3 hours by the coaches and the programme comprised of the following elements:

• Proper warming up and co-ordination practices
• Basic skills
• Team work drills
• Practice matches
