YKK Bangladesh Pte Ltd donated eight hospital beds to the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) in Savar, Dhaka.
The initiative, called the “Hospital Bed Setup Program – 2024 at CRP”, aims to directly improve the lives of patients with disabilities by providing them with better healthcare facilities. The donated beds, placed in Ward 1, are “Three Functions Electric Beds”. These electric beds allow easier positioning and increased comfort for both patients and caregivers.

A ceremony to mark the handover of the beds was held on March 20, 2024, with representatives from both YKK Bangladesh and CRP in attendance. YKK Bangladesh was represented by high-ranking officials including Mr. Hiroyuki Takashina, the General Manager of Administration. Ms. Valerie A. Taylor, the founder of CRP, along with other CRP officials, were also present.

This donation highlights YKK Bangladesh’s dedication to supporting the well-being of people with disabilities in Bangladesh.
