Ramadan encompasses a month of prayers, dawn-to-dusk fasting and nightly feasts. It is a time to eliminate worldly desires and instead, focus on their prayers. To do that, Muslims fast to physically and spiritually purify themselves. They avoid their morning coffee, smoking and exercise self-restraint in its place. They are reminded by the suffering met by the less unfortunate.
During this holy month, YKK Indonesia visits a welfare home to break fasting with the orphans and elderly. Furthermore, food were donated and financial support were provided to them.
