On December 12, 2023, YKK Philippines actively participated in a donation drive as part of their ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. Guided by the YKK Philosophy, which emphasizes that “No one prospers without rendering benefits to others,” the company joined forces with the Create a Job for Disabled Association, Inc. to support their initiative, “Pamaskong Regalo Para sa May Kapansanan.”
During the event, YKK Philippines provided a variety of essential items, including canned goods, milk, coffee, rice, biscuits, and spaghetti sets. These contributions were combined with donations from other sponsors, resulting in a substantial collection of goods for those in need.
The foundation carefully selected recipients from a village in Pandacan, Manila, focusing on individuals with walking disabilities who were also economically disadvantaged. The recipients were moved by the generosity, expressing their joy and hope. This event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of gratitude and the impact that even small acts of kindness can have on the lives of others. Through this initiative, YKK Philippines reaffirmed their commitment to making a positive difference in the community.
