YKK Thailand participated in the project ‘Saving the Bangpoo Sea’ in the Tanning Industrial Zone Km. 34 on 1st December 2023.
The activity of cleaning up the Bangpoo Sea, saw participation from over 10 companies within the zone. Mr. Issara Bupphawet, president of the Environmental Conservation Network, Samut Prakan Province, led a team from the tanning business area.
Participants of the event were given a royal merit on His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday. King Bhumibol Adulyadej was known by the title His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great Borommanat Bophit and was highly revered in Thailand.
YKK Thailand’s participation in this coastal cleanup project also demonstrates the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
