YKK Vietnam’s Ha Nam factory and Ha Noi branch joined forces with customer YIC to sponsor and participate in the YIC Hanam Green Race 2023. The community event aligned with YKK’s Sustainability Vision 2050 and YKK Vietnam’s focus on corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Held on November 4, 2023, at the Ha Nam Provincial Cultural Center, the race celebrated YIC’s 10th anniversary and new factory opening. With the theme “Run Together – Green Together,” approximately 2,000 participants, including 10 from YKK Vietnam, ran for a greener environment.
The event offered more than just a race. Attendees could also enjoy music and games. Notably, a special booth promoted sustainability by allowing people to exchange 10 plastic bottles for an eco-friendly bag. All finishers also received a medal made from recycled plastic.
